Drawing on influences from the Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers, Little Feat, and modern jam/roots scenes, James’ performances move fluidly between rock, blues, Americana, funk, and folk, with a strong sense of dynamics and soul.

James is currently active with Big Sky Orchestra - touring, gigging, and recording new material - while also expanding into solo and acoustic performances, exploring stripped-back sets that focus on the craft of songwriting, storytelling, and musicianship.
